Déjame Ir – Paty Cantu

Mi marido encontró una canción de Paty Cantu – Déjame Ir la semana pasada y nos mucho gusta. Hoy he encontrado las letras y he probado traducir las palabras.

¡ Venga vamos !

El original

Amor…

Qué conveniente situación, me has conformado el corazón con
las migajas de tu amor…
Por tí, no creo en mí
y aún así pides más…

**

Amor…

Si ya no existe otro adjetivo…
para este amor tan despectivo, dime…
¿qué diablos haces ya conmigo, y qué hago aquí?
y aun así pides más…

**

Si alguna vez me quisiste, sólo dejáme ir…
déjame ir…

**

In English (My Version)

Let me Go – Paty Cantu

My love,

What a convenient situation, I have filled up my heart
With every bit of your love
For you, I don’t think about me
And still ask for more

**
I don’t have anything, what do you want from me
What give you the right to make me suffer
Save your words and let me go
Who said a lie can give happiness
And the truth, my love, not about me

My love,

There is no other adjective exists
For this love so destructive
What the hell do you do with me
And what am I doing here
Still ask for more

**

If I ever wanted, just let me go
Let me go

**

El Fin de Semana – Estudiar Español y Ver un Película

Ahora he estudiado pretérito perfecto y indefinido, sé escribir mas en español.

Me gusta Channing Tatum de sus películas pasado: ¨She´s the Man¨ y ¨Step Up¨.

It’s been a while since I watched soccer so when I saw that there was a World Cup qualifying match between Turkey vs Spain I knew I was in for a treat. And not to mention that the game was held in Ali Sami Yen in Istanbul. Turkey will not surrender easily and Spain will need to work their socks off to win the game.

True enough, it was a gripping game from start to end. Turkey scored first at 26th minute, and indeed the team held possession more than the Spanish. But in the second half, Spain did an equaliser through a penalty and then during the injury time, substitute Guiza passed a ball to Riera who then scored. 2-1.

Six yellow cards were handed in the game, one of them was to Xavi during the break ! Right after the referee blew the whistle to mark the end of first half, for some unknown commotion Xavi was given a yellow card.

Very excited to see what Spain can do further. They have been unbeaten since European Cup qualifier, and even now under Vicente del Bosque the new coach, they have not been beaten in all the 6 matches of World Cup qualifying round.

Silithus: It Smells of Death

In general I don’t play computer games (except for some Tetris, Solitaire or Minesweeper) but *the* thing that gets me hooked is World of Warcraft (WoW). I’ve been playing it for about 2 years now and still going strong.

To me, WoW is really fun because:

  • big achievements like levelling up are broken down into smaller milestones of completing quests.
  • as there are many races, the place names have different tones and they all sound beautiful. Curses, items, and monsters have bombastic names but yet nice-sounding.
  • we can group with others to go to dungeons – very exciting.
  • the display is very vivid, full of colours and sometimes can be realistic. Each area is unique – they can be similar but never the same.
  • we get to TRAVEL and open new areas !

As I love traveling for holiday in real life, I like this aspect of WoW as well.  It’s exciting to see new places with new adventures.

Yesterday, my 3rd toon (a Night Elf hunter), entered Silithus, an area that my previous toons did not get to visit. When we went in, the sky was red, the air was filled with dust and fog, I could feel the drought and the absence of water there. As we went deeper, I could hear flies’ buzzing sound and dead bodies everywhere. Even the Alliance Camp (pictured below) was surrounded by flies.

I was absorbed with the view. At one point I could smell it, felt the dust and choked. Had I been there personally, I would’ve hated the place.

I managed to quest a little bit there today and the drama was not as much as yesterday. It looks a lot like Desolace but with the flies and the insects. Gosh, I hate insects.

Luckily my faithful pet is around and he always manages to save the day.

If I Can Have a Special Superpower…

If I can have a special power like any characters in Heroes, X-Men, Mutants and the like, I prefer to have one like Nathan Petrelli’s – the ability to fly.

I’m not asking for a lot. I don’t need to be able to absorb other people’s power (like his brother Peter’s, their Dad’s, or Sylar’s). In reality, these kind of people turn into Jack of All Trades and most probably they can do a lot of things but not very well.

I love the idea of being able to fly without getting into airplanes. I had a number of dreams (while sleeping) that I could fly: I just need to start with running and jumping, and subsequently the jumping gets higher and for longer distance, and voila ! I can fly.

In some dreams my flight were just low ones – about 1.5 meters above the ground and I could travel in standing up position. But in other dreams, I could really fly high and these are the dreams that worth every second. It was really amazing and breathtaking to fly high and looking down into peaceful lakes, green hills or padi fields. I felt tremendous serenity while flying and was awed by the beauty I saw below me. Of course this kind of dream does not visit me every night, but every single one of them was so vivid I can always recall it anytime I want.

I don’t need to be able to hear people’s thoughts, read minds, turn invisible, or become a master of space and time. Never mind immortality or shape-shifting. All I want is just being able to fly high, free and unrestricted like birds up in the sky.
