I am someone who hailed from Indonesia and now live in Singapore with my husband.
Used to lead a high stress life as a consultant but in June 2008 decided to take life easier and to smell the roses along the way. Since then, I started to nurture my old hobbies and discover new ones, and in a way embarked into a journey of self discovery although I am no longer a teenager.
My old interests include listening and playing music, watching soccer, catching movies, and reading topics on health and fitness. These I continue, and in fact I start to understand which specific aspects of these I like better.
New things that interest me are learning Spanish (started taking lessons in July 2008), cycling moderately, and reading novels. When it comes to reading, I am in the midst of identifying what types of novels interest me and I’m blown away by the available options out there. Since I did a career switch, I come to to realise that there are more out there than business & management books.
To top it off, I am a moderate World of Warcraft player. It is the only computer game I play.
I started this blog initially to record down my view about soccer (hence the nickname), I created this right after 2008 Euro. But now it has evolved, I want to use this site to record my daily experiences, as well as to practice my Spanish. Let’s see if one day I can write about soccer in Spanish !
